Starts with a morning routine...

I'm not going to lie, my morning routine is anything but "wash n' go". However, with a few vital products in my make-up arsenal a potentially long prep time is greatly decreased. Though  I've dedicated previous posts to a few of my favourite products (here and here), I've since added a few new ones to my list of must-haves.

The perfect accessory to carry all these essentials? A Louis Vuitton cosmetic case, which my parents brought back for me from their last trip to Europe.

Dior Diorskin Nude Skin Perfecting Hydrating Concealer (here)
Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Vernis À Lèvres Glossy Stain in 15 Rose Vinyl (here)
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer (here)

As you can see I use quite a few products from the Dior Diorskin Nude line. For someone who does not like heavy make-up, this particular line offers enough coverage while still being sheer, light, and very natural-looking.

The Dior Addict Lip Glow is somewhat of a miracle product. It`s a balm that goes on clear and then works with your lip chemistry to enhance your natural colour. Perfect for days at the office. Conversely, the YSL Glossy Stain is a wonderful, long-lasting lip stain that offers the perfect amount of berry pink.

If you have specific questions about any of the products above, feel free to leave a comment below!

Happy Tuesday!

Wish list: Saint Laurent Chyc Clutch

My beloved black clutch (last seen here) has finally seen its end. After many years of devoted use, the clasp has fallen off. As such, the search for a timeless go-to piece is on.

Top of the list is this Saint Laurent Chyc Clutch. It is unequivocally classic Saint Laurent and will never go out of style. With holiday party season fast approaching, it's also the perfect accessory to tote all your event-going essentials. Have I convinced you yet? Get yours here.

Starts with Inspiration: Grey pieces for Fall...

Grey is a go-to colour for me. In light cotton for summer or richer textures like leather, cashmere or wool for cooler weather, it's the perfect neutral. Combining various shades and materials provides dimension and is anything but boring.

This ensemble is perfect for a weekend dinner with the girls or a casual Friday at the office.

What's your go-to seasonless colour?

Starts with Inspiration: Classic Black Totes

A black tote is the quintessential staple on any Fall must-have list. A classic bag in always-chic black is worth the luxe price tag as it will inevitably always find a place in your ensemble.

Despite the fact that my own wardrobe already contains two classic black bags, I still find myself undeniably drawn to timeless black pieces season after season. Note however, that despite the classic hue, each bag below has distinctive hardware that serves not only for function but iconic detailing as well.

After all, there’s no such thing as too much black, right?
